Students initiated into Latin Honor Society
Junior s Mathew Gregg and Carson Craig, sophomore Nathan Brieske, freshman Anna Maloof, and junior Madi Reynolds were among eight students initiated into the Latin Honor Society on April 30.
The St. Pius X Latin program initiated eight new members into the National Junior Classical League Honor Society on Tuesday, April 30. In a brief ceremony held after school in the Young Center Auditorium, these students recited the “votum,” or vow, with veteran members and then passed around a flameless candle as a formal symbol of their initiation. Seniors were also presented with honor cords to wear at graduation.
