Join Memphis in the library on Monday, May 6 to help de-stress before exams and pop bubble wrap.

With final exams right around the corner, students have already begun stressing about the busy weeks ahead as they battle exhaustion and struggle to focus. To help ease tension and anxiety, the Active Minds Club is hosting a “de-stress” event on Monday, May 6 after school in the library. Students are invited to pop bubble wrap and pet Memphis, the official library dog. There’s no need to sign up in advance.

The library is sponsoring other fun and relaxing events as well.

On Tuesday, April 30 in the cafeteria, join theology teacher Mr. Eaglen for a Bob Ross-style painting tutorial. Mr. Eaglen offered a similiar event last month where students learned to paint mountains.

Don’t like painting? Try your hand at knitting. French teacher Ms. Stockard and junior Madi Reynolds are teaching students to knit in the library after school next week on Tuesday, May 7.  Sign up here.

Remember that AP exams begin next week, and the library will be closed on the following days:

Tuesday, May 7−7:15am-12pm
Wednesday, May 8−11:30am-3pm
