Student-athletes sign to continue playing careers in college

This spring, eight senior student-athletes signed letters of intent to continue playing at colleges and universities across the country. While they weren’t able to have a formal ceremony at school, they celebrated their achievements at home with their families. 

Javier Aponte (soccer) – Oglethorpe University

Matthew Burdick (baseball) – John Carroll University

Josie Lord (softball) – Franciscan University

Nicolas Robinson (baseball) – Montreat College

Wylie Sheridan (basketball) – Oglethorpe University

Matthew Turner (baseball) – Maryville College

Jack Voss (cross country/track) – Georgia Tech

Jared Williams (track) – University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

These eight student-athletes joined four of their classmates who previously signed letters of intent in November.

Caroline Gray (soccer) – University of Notre Dame

Riley Hendrix (swimming) – Tulane University

Morgan Vaden (cross country and track) – University of Georgia

Asher Wagnon (lacrosse) – Furman University
