The National Honor Society is hosting its annual canned food drive the week of November 8-11. Students are encouraged to drop off their cans in the bins located outside Campus Ministry, and NHS members will be there to accept them each morning before school.

These donations will support St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic charity that provides housing, healthcare, and emergency services to those in need. One in every nine people, and one in every seven children, in the state of Georgia does not have access to food, and the NHS is hoping to make a positive difference in this area of need.

In addition to helping the community, the homeroom that collects the most cans will earn donuts and a Chick-fil-A breakfast at the next homeroom meeting in December. Students should write their homeroom number on the can before dropping them off.
