About

St. Pius X, an archdiocesan high school, provides a college preparatory education for the formation of the mind, body, and spirit of each student in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Opening in 1958 as the first high school in the newly established Diocese of Atlanta, St. Pius X currently has about 1,100 students, more than 130 faculty and staff members, and thousands of alumni and supporters across the nation. Our motto is “Domini Sumus” – “We are the Lord’s.” It is from this central belief that our school thrives and has created a strong sense of family.

The goal of the Golden Lines newspaper staff is to provide interesting, informative, and timely coverage of our school community. We update our student news site regularly throughout the week, and we publish print issues of the newspaper 2-3 times each semester.

If you have suggestions for stories you’d like our staff to cover, we invite you to fill out the “Request Coverage” form located at the top of our homepage.
