Theater & Chorus – November 30 at 7:00 p.m.
The St. Pius X Singers and Vocal Ensemble will be performing popular Christmas songs, and later in the night, the Advanced Drama Company will perform The Gift of the Magi.
“I think the moral of this play is just so beautiful, just the willingness and sacrifice put into giving heartfelt gifts, and to be able to portray that on stage is so fun,” senior Emily Kelly said.
Dance – December 6 at 7:00 p.m.
December 6 is all about dance. Dance Company, Advanced Dance, and the Dance III classes will showcase excerpts from the Nutcracker and other jazzy Christmas dances in their holiday show.
When asked about her favorite part of the holiday dance concert, junior Claire Ullengren said, “I would have to say just the atmosphere. It’s very different from other concerts because Christmas time brings such a magical atmosphere.”
Guitar & Band – December 7 at 7:00 p.m.
All guitar classes, symphonic band, jazz band, and percussion class will be spreading Christmas cheer by featuring some popular Christmas songs.
Junior Madeline Ramer thinks that the Christmas guitar concert is one of the most fun parts of the year, saying, “It’s just putting all of our hard work and practicing to use, and watching it all come together.”
