During the live announcements on Friday, January 5, junior Lydia Halloran asks junior Jackson Neil (third from left) to the Sadie Hawkins Dance. Student Council had the idea to bring back the traditional dance for the first time in several years. It is on Saturday, January 20 from 7:00-9:00 pm, and tickets are still available to purchase.
This year will mark the comeback of a St. Pius X tradition: the Sadie Hawkins Dance. Organized by the Student Council, who plans to “spice up” last year’s winter informal, the dance gives girls a chance to break tradition and ask guys to be their dates.
“We are planning on bringing a Snow Ball that feels like a normal Homecoming type of dance,” Junior Class President Colin Crosby said. “It’ll be lots of fun.”
The dance will be held in the gym on Saturday, January 20, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Dates are not required, so feel free to bring a group of friends! Just keep in mind that only St. Pius students are allowed.
Tickets are currently available to purchase for $15. We hope to see you there!
