Freshman-Sophomore Social: Back and better than ever

Elliott Seng, Staff Writer

The Sophomore Class Council will host the Freshman-Sophomore Social on Saturday, September 17, from 7-10 pm in the cafeteria and breezeway.  We’re not just talking about your ordinary party games mixed in with a couple songs and Cheez-Its.

“There’ll be a DJ and a photo booth,” said Reese Hillman, Sophomore Council Vice President.  The social will also include ping pong, basketball, and carnival games.

“It’s rodeo themed,” Hillman added, “so if you’re feeling a bit festive, show up dressed in jeans, boots, and hats.”

If rodeo’s not for you, don’t worry! Students can also wear comfortable clothes like t-shirts, shorts, and sneakers.

The Sophomore Council hopes to connect the classes by planning more events throughout the year.

“[Building the] bond between our class and inaugurating and bringing in the freshman class, it’s something that can take us a long way.” Hillman said.

So, if you’re a freshman or sophomore, the Sophomore Class Council encourages you to come to the social. Whether you want to hang out with friends, play some pick-up basketball, or just take a ton of photos in the photo booth, you’re guaranteed to have a good time.
