Hi, my name is Marie and I am a senior. This is my first year on staff, so I’m excited to see where this class takes me. I have played on the St. Pius X varsity softball team for the past two years (look out for the tallest girl with the biggest bow). As for clubs, I am part of Student Council, Fashion Club, and the Diverse Student Union; these clubs help with feeling involved with the Pius community. I love helping freshmen transition into the culture of St. Pius, so I am also a Lion Leader. When time seems to slow down, I enjoy practicing the piano. For the past couple of years, “The Hunger Games” reigns at the top for my favorite movie. When it comes to my prized television show, “Gilmore Girls” continues to beat the many other competitors, I am thrilled to see what grand story my words will create on the newspaper staff.
