Hi, my name is Elizabeth Hong. I’m a co-editor of the newspaper, and this is my third year on staff. When I’m not editing articles, I’m probably drinking chai or talking about how I hate country music. I also pitch for the SPX softball team and am the co-president of the Film & Photo Club.

Members of the boys cross country team celebrate after their region meet on October 27. Both the varsity and JV teams placed second. While some of the runners lead the pack and have aspirations to run in college or set a school record, others simply enjoy being part of a team and proving something to themselves regardless of their finish times.

Only sophomores at the time, students from the Class of 2022 compete in a tug-of-war competition during Field Day in August of 2019. This was the last time St. Pius X hosted Field Day, and students are looking forward to its return on Friday, October 15.
